Ok i have mad my venture into the world of literotica and ive written the story and ive submitted it. BUt it hasnt been acepted or anything, it just says pending, how long does it take normally?

Congratulations on writing and submitting your first story.

Now you wait - depending on the format you used anything between 3 and 5 days.

Don't forget the 8 hour time difference stories are posted at midnight 8am our time.

Hi,

I submitted two stories about five days ago (or so, I can't remember exactly) both the same format and pretty close to the same size. After three days the second submission was accepted, but the first one has remained lonely and pending. Is it possible I did something wrong and didn't submit it correctly? About how long do you think I ought to wait until trying again or mentioning it to someone?

As a decrepit old timer, it's my sacred duty to tell you that a while ago it took

WEEKS

to get your story posted.

Enjoy the quick turnaround.

Well, then...

Well then, I'm super greatful that the first one got accepted so quickly!!

It's *possible* of course. But it's not likely.
I submitted a three-part story at as close to the same time
for each part as is humanly possible.
Laurel put each of the parts up on a separate day.
From what the directions say, I doubt that she would have
put anything up before the whole story was submitted.
(Uncompleted serials are one of the banes of
alt.sex.stories.)
So, she might just be giving the readers breathing space
between your stories.
