riffilicious

It was great, JL. Hotter than a well-diggers ass down here. Played my fingers sore on guitar Saturday and sweat like crazy.

I was a lazy bum all day yesterday. Slept through Sunday dinner and all.

New kitten should come home today!

Can't wait to see the new kitten.

Do you have a name picked out yet?

JL:kiss:

Umberto!

or just 'Berto for short.

You gotta say like you mean it, Italiano.... use your hand as you say it.

Speaking of pics. I need to catch up on my editing and copying.

Amelia & 'Berto.

I like it.:)

I'd like to hear you play the guitar sometime. But I'm at a loss on how we could arrange that, lol.

I need to do some recording. I'll get around to it sooner or later. I'm no professional and am totally improv for the most part.

Like Saturday night- most people were asking me, can you play this... can you play that?

No. I just play.

Well, that is on the acoustic. On the electric I can play a lot of stuff. I play along with my CDs and vinyl usually. U2, Pixies, WHO.... been learning old Police songs lately.

I've called you so many times today
And I guess it's all true what your girlfriends say
That you don't ever want to see me again
And your brother's gonna kill me and he's six feet ten
I guess you'd call it cowardice
But I'm not prepared to go on like this

I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I can't, I can't
I can't
I can't stand losing you

I see you've sent my letters back
And my LP records and they're all scratched
I can't see the point in another day
When nobody listens to a word I say
You can call it lack of confidence
But to carry on living doesn't make no sense

I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing

I guess this is our last goodbye
And you don't care so I won't cry
But you'll be sorry when I'm dead
And all this guilt will be on your head
I guess you'd call it suicide
But I'm too full to swallow my pride

I can't, I can't
I can't stand losing
I can't stand losing you

I'm sure you play from the heart, riff. It's different when you hear someone make music and you know they are playing it from somewhere in their soul. Music can transcend you.
