This is the best quote I've seen on the movie so far (from the L.A. Times). Any others?

Nothing, not even a season of Shakespeare at Stratford-upon-Avon, will give you more respect for how difficult it is to be an actor than watching top talent like John Cusack, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Amanda Peet and Oliver Platt struggling to treat the film's ungodly language and situations with perfect seriousness.

To give you an idea of how bad this movie must really be, the full-page spread in the L.A. Times could only find one reviewer who said something positive about it. And I have no idea who he is!

2012 could actually be the end of the world. Joe Biden may run for le Presidente' and win

Actually, I'll make a prediction here, and it'll be interesting to see if it comes true. I predict that 2012 will do rip-roaringly good this weekend...BUT, I also predict it will, to it's chagrin, find that Mr. Fox does nearly as well. I say to it's chagrin because it'll be the big block-buster up agains the little weird stop-action movie. It's not that Mr. Fox has to do better or even equal--but if it edges close, that'll be enough.

I could be very wrong, but I'm suspecting that in the long run Mr. Fox is the one which will make the big splash. 2012 will have it's moment and fade fast.
