(Looking for 1 female to join me in this. PM me if interrested.)

Detective Eric Ravensmith listened to the verdict with a deep fury he never had experienced before. There was a smug smile on Vince Dupard's lips as his client Leo Blackwell was freed of all charges that had been pressed against him. The prosecutor looked down and avoided to look directly at Eric Ravensmith or Shannon Rafferty. The widow of Officer Sean Rafferty. The murdered Sean Rafferty. Eric's best friend and former partner. They had remained friends after Eric got the promotion to Sergeant and was transferred to the homicide division. Sean remained in the streets as a patrolling officer and seemed pleased with that.
No one knew why he was in the dark alley that late at night without backup. He had surprised two men that was in the middle of a drug deal. Leo Blackwell was one of the men. The other man was also dead. Shot in the head by Sean's service pistol. Sean himself was shot by Leo Blackwell. Vince Dupard had crushed the prosecution with his wit and charm. He was the popular lawyer who each year donated millions to charity. He was New Orleans best attourney. He lay down evidence that Sean was a cop on the pay. A dirty cop. A disgrace to New Orleans finest. He claimed that Sean was in on the deal but got greedy and shot John Dee, the second victim. In return Sean was shot by Leo. It was in self defence. The jury freed Leo Blackwell of any guilt in what had happened. In the end of the trial he was a free man and Sean Rafferty had got a bad reputation.
Eric remained in the courtroom as he saw Vince and Leo leave as winners. His thoughts was in turmoil. He knew something about Vince Dupard not many did. He was the biggest drug lord in New Orleans. The money he gave to charity was in fact drug money and Eric was in no doubt that Sean had stumbled in to see a drug deal that had been sanctioned by Dupard himself.
An hour later eric sat alone in his house with a whiskey in his hand, staring into the wall. Somehow he would make Dupard pay. Blackwell was the shooter but Eic saw him as he was, a hired thug. A killer. It was Dupard that was the shark. Eric had been tracking him and knew his only weakness. Dupard's wife Marie. A cruel smile formed on his lips. Now he knew how he would get Dupard to suffer. To be married to a slime like Vince Dupard, Marie was probably a vindictive bitch and Eric felt no remorse in knowing what he had to do.
