I haven't tried to subject anything myself (yet, perhaps) but what I suspect from the indirect reporting around the forum, is that the stories are first "read" by a bot flagging words or rather phrases out of a dictionary. The flags are not investigated by a human, the story is bounced by a standard notice.

The auto-bounce dictionary may or may not contain phrases like "budding breasts" or as one rant implied "sophomore girls" disregarding the fact the action happened at college. You may try to read your text with an eye for what an algorithm could flag, but that may not be very productive (and I would guess, mother's reported age wouldn't be among that; it's even claimed that her being (too) young isn't a problem on itself as long as the details of how that come to be isn't explored).

As is being reported repeatedly, the best remedy is to resubmit with a notice in notes section that it was bounced seemingly without reason, and polite request to take a look and clarify if there's indeed a perceived issue. I have thought about this and put a disclaimer at the start and changed where it says boy to mates or guys I also added his age and the moms in. Hopefully that will do the trick.
