Return of the King Movie Summary
It is the last movie in Peter Jackson's Fantasy Advnture of the J.R.R. Tolkien fantasy trilogy. It follows hobbits Frodo and Sam as they push farther into the land of Mordor to destroy the ring of power. Traveling with them, in an uneasy alliance, is the deceitful Gollum, who brings them to the very heart of Mount Doom. The warrior Aragorn who is the lost King of Gondor travels to Minis Tirith with an army of undead soldiers and the remaining members of the fellowship to rescue the ancient city from Lord Sauron's grasp.

New! Peter Jackson has cut the opening scenes with Wormtongue (Brad Dourif) and Saruman (Christopher Lee) out of the beginning because it is considered a wrap up of what happened in lotr : the two towers.
Saruman fans shall be disappointed as Saurman has no rolls in rotk

ROTK opens December 17th, 2003
- New Line Cinema is doing something special for the release of this movie
- For the 2 weeks leading up to the release The Fellowship of the Ring and The Two Towers will be playing in the major cinemas, 125-155 theaters will be playing the LOTR movies starting December 12th!
- Special: On December 16th, the day before the actual release of The Return of the King, the FOTR (playing at 3 PM) and T2T (Starting at 7 PM) will play all with intermissions inbetween and bonus material.
Then... at 11:00 PM, if youre a true fan and have lasted, the first showing of the Return of the King will be shown running into the next day which is the 17th

Return of the King Movie Summary
