Is there any way to do this? About a year ago I asked the mods to delete my story, "A Fortunate Mistake" because I was spending to much time I didn't have on it. But now that is no longer a problem, and I realized what an unfortunate mistake I made in asking for it to be deleted. Is there anyway to get it back or should I just start over?

There is no way to retrieve a deleted story. I hope you had offline copies. I keep all of my threads on a private wiki, so I can write without worrying about the timeout. Google Docs works well for this as well.
I was afraid of that. Unfortunately I did not save any off line copies. But I have restarted the story. It might actually be a good thing in the end. It will give me a chance to change the aspects of the original that I didn't really like. Thanks for the speedy reply.
