Rejection

My latest story was rejected because of 'smart quotes'. It was written and saved in exactly the same format as the other 18 stories that I've had posted on the site.
I don't know how to change the format, so have passed it on to a second editor (the first replied, accepted the task and has done nothing!) to help.
Any other ideas? Anyone?

MS Word is a PITA about smart quotes: the versions I've used need them turning off TWICE!

In Wd97, drop down the [Tools] menu and go to [AutoCorrect...] - you need to use both the [Autoformat] AND [Autoformat as you type] tabs. On BOTH, make sure the ["Straight quotes" with "smart quotes"] box is not checked.

Spellchecker

At this time I have received 3 feedback’s on a story that I submitted and it was posted on 07/26/03 the posted name of the story is "Paul comes home" the category is incest.

The reason I’m posting this message is in all 3 feedback’s they said I did not us spellchecker that is part of Microsoft Word 7 along with its grammar checker. So when I have some one tell me my spelling is wrong then I start to wonder if my Office 97 is working the way it was designed to work.

I would hope the Moderator Killer Muffin could help me?
