Resize a pic

Hello, one of the many complaints in a thread is the size of the pic that’s being shared. Unfortunately, the size is constrained from the original page the link is from. Is there a way to resize a linked pic you’re sharing in a thread?

Not currently. And http tags are turned off.

There are several (free) online image resize services. Here are a couple:

https://resizeimage.net/

http://www.simpleimageresizer.com/

You can resize the image, then copy the image address. However, with some of them, if you post to Lit direct from their site, the image will disappear fairly soon thereafter. I have a Tumblr blog into which I paste the (resized) image, and then copy image address and paste into Lit from there. That way it will retain permanency on Lit.

I have photoshop and know how to resize a pic. I was looking to resize a pic through a link I can post here, not the original pic.
