Hey, everyone. I’m doing a call out for some help with a story that’s only about half finished. My co-author has come to a point in his career where he simply doesn’t have the time to write any more. I’d much rather keep the story going than just drop it, but I’d also rather have someone co-authoring it with me since it’s being told in first person from two separate perspectives. I could finish it on my own, but I feel that since half the story’s been done in two writing styles it’ll throw the rest off for it to suddenly all be in one person’s style. I don’t know if that makes sense to y’all, but that’s how I feel.

Therefore, I come to you, my fellow authors, looking for people who would be interested in helping me out with this. Let me give you a little info about the project and anyone that’d be interested can post or PM, as it pleases you.

The story in question is called When Irish Eyes Are Smiling, aka WIEAS, and it’s being posted under the name TomNJus. There’s a link to it in my sig. So far, there are three chapters completed and submitted. The fourth chapter is currently in progress. A little slip of information that you might like to have is that it’s a GM category with a high rating and number of reads. Anyone who currently writes in the GM genre is aware that’s hard as hell to get a lot of votes/reads in that category.

Whoever decides they’d like to offer their help should know that they’d have to read the whole thing (like you couldn’t figure that out *cheeky :D*) and would also have to start writing as soon as they were up to date on the story because it would be their turn up to bat.

The way it works is I write a section, each usually being between 1000-2000 words, then email the Word.doc to my co-author. The co-author goes over my section with and editorial eye, making comments, suggestions, what not, then writes their section and returns it to me. I fix up my last section from their suggestions, go over theirs with and editorial eye, write my next section and send it back to them.

Each chapter will be around 10,000 words, and whoever begins a chapter ends it, so that the other person would be the one to begin the next chapter. Once we’ve both edited the whole chapter to our satisfaction, it’ll be sent to my tech editor. He’ll go over the whole thing and send it back to me. I edit my sections, leaving his comments to me in place so my co-author can see them, then send it on to you. You edit your sections and send it back to me. I go over it once more to make sure I didn’t miss anything and all the comments have been removed and it got to my creative editor, RogueLurker. The process continues and when we both feel that it’s ready, it gets subbed for posting. I’ve yet to have anything rejected by Lit, so at that point, it’s a sure thing and we can get started on the next chapter and do it all over again. WEEEEEEEE…LOL

Now, I’m not sure I covered everything, so feel free to spit out any questions that you’ve got on this thread and I’ll answer them as best as I can. I have no gender biases for my co-author, regardless of the original one being male. I’m willing to consider all comers *she says as if she really expects people to flood the thread begging to write with her *snerk** and your actual sexual preferences are completely irrelevant. Unless writing about a guy giving a blowjob turns your stomach *snicker*, in which case I wouldn’t expect you to ask to join my project, unless you’re really wanting to stretch your skills. In that case I certainly wouldn’t mind giving you a go.

Well, that’s pretty much all I’ve got to say for now, except…

PLEASE, SOMEONE HELP ME OUT HERE! *whimpers pathetically* PLEEEHEHEHEHEHEEEEEEASE! *words dissolve into dramatic tears, which turn to a nasty case of the hiccoughs accompanied by considerably juicy sniffing and a foghornesk nose blowing*
