Hello everyone. Due to circumstances outside of my control (life, job training and the like) I was offline for about a year. It also didn't help that I managed to lose my password to the site (thank god for recovery options).

Now, I happen to be totally blind here, so my method of editing stories is usually done in a text editor (like Text Edit on my apple machine here). I still have some problems with formatting issues (indentation, spelling errors not picked up by the spell checker, paragrraphing, etc. So, I really do need the help.

I have been rewriting my first time story offline, when I do get the time and I have filled in a lot of detail. It's a mostly true story (all names, including mine) have been changed and the city is deliberately not mentioned). I have also changed some street names as well. Anyway, I need some help editing this story to make better conitnuity, correct some issues resulting from lack of capitalization, punctuation misplacement and other stuff. Ordinarily, I would have done this on a braille display device, but my last one died and I don't have the funds for a replacement (about $6k for an exact replacement unit). Being blind can be very expensive.

Anyway, I will try to keep track of my mailbox on here and hopefully respond soon as I can.

thanks.

Hey lovely, best of luck (I’d offer but my spelling can be atrocious). You might get a better quality editor in the authors forum, x
