I'm sorry. If you believe all that shit, truly believe everything that is said on this board, then you fucking frighten me. I'm not joking. I'm serious.
Are there all Democrat neighborhoods in America? I mean in a Republican lead world we have to still have some segregation.
I want to belong to a Democrats only Country Club and a Democrats only home owner's association.
I think I need to move to Massachusetts or Vermont. Maybe San Francisco.

If the Libertarians were a viable option in my town, I'd be one. (Actually, I am one, just not registered as one... they understandShy Tall Guy said:Forget the dems and repubs - become a Libertarian! Now that is something to be proud of!

The exclusionary principle is traditionally more of a Republican ideal. Democrats have a tendency to feel that human issues are of primary concern and should be addressed hand in hand with economic. For the most part one should only be a Republican if one has a lot of money and is more concerned with protecting it than the general welfare of society. I wonder what percentage of the 'heads of households' in gated communities are Republican?lavender said:Are there all Democrat neighborhoods in America? As far as Libertarians...how can you trust that people, left to their own devices will make appropriate decisions?
Hey some of those Enron and Worldcom and Aldelphi people in gated communites are moving up to new, federally-operated, barbed-wired gated communities, like Lewisburg and Leavenworth.Dougy said:I wonder what percentage of the 'heads of households' in gated communities are Republican?

One of the most nonsensical pieces of gibberish I've had the mispleasure of reading in quite a while.
Your beliefs just don't fit the facts.

what facts?
in a general sense, what he says is true.
republicans = big business = cut taxes, all about money and keeping it
democrats = small business, minorities = more social issues

In one word, BULLSHIT.
Corporations donate equally to both parties. They have learned to cover their ass. Just look at the Enron donation breakdown.
The Repulicans receive more contributions, true. But those contributions are small contributions but great in number.
The Democrats recieve most of their monies from the unions and the trial lawyers association. Not from small contibutors.
The reason that large corporations receive so many tax breaks is because of Democratic initiatives. The large corporations employ most of the union workers. The Democrats dare not kill the goose that lays the golden egg. The "Big Business" myth is the most pervasive and misdirecting lie the Democrats have been able to perpetuate.
