How do you get to ousting a fellow conservative REPUBLICAN who voted for the leader of the parties(TRHump) legislative achievements 95% of the time and decide to go with another party member who opposed TRHump and voted for his legislation at near 50%?

Cheney isn't being ousted for her conservative stance and her voting record. These are items of substances and Repubs really are not interested in substance anymore.

Cheney has refused to kiss the ring on the hand of King TRHump. That is all she has done to get CANCELLED from the party.

Once Cheney is gone the same problem Republiturds have will continue...what beyond kissing the ring of TRHump do they stand for?
How do Republiturds become relevant again to mainstream America which isn't based squarely in the middle(middle right or left... doesn't really matter how much in either direction).

It isn't a big imperative of Republicans that the left understand the GOP. It's the simpler imperative that the GOP understand itself and political reality. Cheney, like other Rinos, does not think of herself as a representative of the people, but a representative of the Administrative State with a certain allocation of the population to control and manage on its behalf.

The GOP is now a populist party representative of private sector interests separate and apart from the emerging fascism of Big Tech, the Chamber of Commerce, the Business Rountable, and the current Administrative State, all of whom are arrayed against those interests.
