Republicans, is abortion a States' rights issue, or not?

He's trying to frame it as a human right's issue. Of course disregarding that women are humans. Not surprising for the republicans or Graham.

I think Graham has been pushing federal legislation for a couple years at least. As of now, it’s up to the states.

He has no doubt, he has impeccable timing right before mid terms. We lost the Senate majority because of McConnell’s impeccable timing.

Oh, cheer up. You probably would have lost it anyway because your base insisted on nominating the likes of Dr. Oz and Herschel Walker. :D

Apparently we have an answer. For Republicans, abortion is NOT a States' rights issue. Protestations to the contrary.

166 House Republicans, including GOP Whip Scalise and Chair Stefanik, have co-sponsored a “Life Begins at Conception” bill that would use the 14th Amendment to criminalize all abortion after the moment of fertilization, with absolutely no exceptions for rape, incest or the health of the woman.

So, hmmm, what we are seeing here is proof once again that the anti-abortion folks are liars who use propaganda to seize power and control. And that, once again, the anti-abortion movement is inherently dishonest. Shocking.
