Republicans finally admit big government is good

and efficient by giving the NSA free reign and killing the Leahy bill.

And I'm glad none of you are hillbillies are stupid enough to criticize the NSA. And we need taxes to fund it. So, obviously it's not big intrusive government you hate, correct?

Republicans and Democrats have always liked big government. They ARE the government.

No bigger "big government guy" since FDR with G W Bush until, of course Obama with Obamacare.

Was there a point you were trying to make?

The Republican House forced Clinton into being a slightly less big government guy and look at how proud of "his" ideas now.

The point is that the GOP battle cry is big government is bad, and the teatards run that message up the flagpole.

The tea party does not equal republican and republican does not equal tea party. I haven't heard an establishment republican even give lip service to, much less holler a "battle cry" of small government since long before no child left behind and medicaid drugs. Establishment republicans are about "our spending and our social engineering is better than their spending and their social engineering."

Just look at the Senate Re-election Committee's support of the alzheimers-ridden Thad Cochran. To defeat the preferred by republican voters tea party candidate they scared democrats to the primary with claims that benefits would be cut.

Republicans are the party of pork as much as Democrats.

I don't buy that. The teatards and thieveanglicals gave Republicans the edge. The GOP knows they can count on them to support them at the polls. And McCain's running mate? That piece of shit wasn't tea party?

Rick Perry didn't campaign against big government?

I see you are back to your boring attack mode. If I found that interesting I can just wait for paperboy Oreo to deliver Salon in the morning.

If, as a grown woman, you cannot discuss politics without your trite little nicknames you will never get you point heard.

So you don't want to discuss Rick Perry?

You had no problem with your "Obola" people on Lit. There you go again. Distance yourself from the tea party idiots, but let them rant and lie and motivate your base.

Well, you should be happy your big graphics friends have joined us to keep the excitement up.

You have no idea what I do and do not have a problem with. You cannot even type tea party without a pejorative. You have no idea about that movement how it started when it was somewhat co-opted.

As far as lying to motivate your base, pot-kettle. I'm pretty sure the guy that wrote "rules for radicals" which you are employing here, BTW (probably unwittingly) was not a tea party member.

The Koch brothers aren't busing the tea party around to promote progressive thinking. And, "somewhat" co-opted? That tells me exactly what you don't have a problem with. Maybe I'm psychic. I also knew there were no weapons of mass destruction. Psychic--right?

Providing a bus for a speaking tour is not "busing people around"

That would be unions you are thinking of with paid astro-turfers.

Community organizers with the help of paid union "protesters."

They print up the signs, pack the lunches, tel them what to chant.

Who orchestrated the successful shut down of our government? Establishment Republicans?

No, I'm talking about the Koch brothers.

Of course, there is no such thing as an anti-politician, despite Libertarian pretenses to the contrary. Libertarian -- or even Anarchist -- politicians is still politicians.

But I do congratulate you on keeping their names off this board. You've earned your money. Anyway, good night. I've got to earn my money in a few hours.

Don't take less than $100 a trick! If you're offered less or your pimp insists you take less, it's time to join a union!

Sanity Sam, did your dad sink yet?

No? Still floating

(This message brought is to you by another David Koch sponsored PBS program.)
