I'm surprised I haven't seen any discussion of how the lie-revealing McCarthy tape played in media last night came to be made. The phone call was one with Liz Cheney, so I assume she provided the tape and has more revealing ones to give on two-faced Republicans. It seems strange that McCarthy and coconspirators haven't taken into account what she knows and can testify to with/without tape backup.
