what a ginormous piece of shit he isOn Tuesday, a $3 billion bipartisan deal to help subsidize school lunches nationwide was unveiled. However, the Kentucky senator subsequently told Politico that he was “contemplating” objecting to the bill because of guidance from the Department of Agriculture that says that schools that receive federal nutrition money must also have a policy in place to combat anti-LGBTQ+ discrimination. So, to sum that up: the federal lunch program is set to expire June 30 and oneKentuckyKansas senator is threatening to hold millions of kids’ lunches hostage because he hates hates the idea of queer and trans people getting equal treatment.
but he's not alone, oh no siree bob!
Marshall was one of five U.S. senators, including Marsha Blackburn, John Barasso, Tom Cotton, and James Lankford, who sent a letter to the Government Accountability Office earlier this month objecting to the USDA guidance.
