"radical propagandists living in a delusional world of Conservative fan fiction"

I stumbled upon this phrase, and it struck a chord with me.

Most Cos players are healthy enough to understand the difference between pretending to be a Super Hero, or Heroine, in a costume, and their reality based lives in the world outside of the convention hall. The Cos players may have much affection for the Fan Fic that inspires their costumes, and adds to the fantasy behind their chosen characters, but they know enough to stop and draw a line between fantasy and reality.

When playing hero, or Heroine fantasy character, they might pretend to battle a person that is wearing a costume that represents a villain. They do not attempt to harm or kill the person that they battle. They draw a line.

A skit may be performed. The villain might pretend to kill a member of the opposing team. The audience viewing the spectacle may pretend to be upset at the turn of events.

No one expects to see anyone killed or injured. It is pure theatre.

Ted Cruz has been chosen by the Right Wing as a Cos player in the political theatre.

Over the top performances are expected from Republicans, but Ted Cruz has crossed the line. In order to propel the Republican storyline forward, Ted Cruz lied.

"The media promptly wants to blame him (Robert Dear ) on the pro-life movement when at this point there’s very little evidence to indicate that," Cruz said.
"It’s also been reported that he was registered as an independent and a woman and a transgendered leftist activist. If that’s what he is, I don’t think it’s fair to blame on the rhetoric on the left. This is a murderer.”

Soopermexican the conservative blogger, supplies material to add to the Republican fantasy fiction. Fictions used by Rush Limbaugh, Dana Perino, Michelle Malkin, and other mainstream members of the right-wing commentariat.

Unsurprisingly, according to a campaign spokesman, Cruz found his information about the shooter’s political and gender identity on a right-wing blog.

Far-right outlets such as The Gateway Pundit, Young Conservatives and WorldNetDaily have been implying that what appears to be a typo on the attacker’s voter registration form may mean that he in fact identified as a woman. Cruz’s campaign spokesman cited a blog post on The Right Scoop by a blogger named “soopermexican,” titled “WAS THE COLORADO SHOOTER A TRANSGENDER PERSON?!?!”

American Family Radio host Bryan Fischer also suggested that a webpage typo was proof that “low info media narrative collapses”

Shameless, Ted Cruz blamed President Obama for the death of a police officer at the scene of the Planned Parenthood shoot out. It does not matter to Ted Cruz, that the murderer was solidly allied to the people that produced the distorted videos that spread false propaganda. Robert Dear was a pure product of every extreme Rightwing storyline that was produced.

Robert Dear was convinced that he was to battle concentrated evil. He was at the scene of Planned Parenthood to kill evil.

He did not understand that it was radical Republican fan fiction, meant to score points and manufacture slogans and false memes.

Ted Cruz joins Donald Trump, in using bloggers as sources to bolster false claims.
It does not matter that credible news sources will debunk false claims.
The fiction is what the fans want.

All the rightie hater types use blogs as sources. Blogs, editorials or letters to the editor as if they were fact. Political commentators are taken as speaking universal truths. Yet to see a hater use Wiki as a back up to their ideas.

Spout personal opinions then demand minute details of facts in refuting their idiocies.

They make political commentators Senators in Canada. :(

I am grateful to those who venture into Right Wing blogs, so that I am not forced to.

What did this journalist find in the blogs ?

"...displacement, projection, and just good old-fashioned batshit crazy."

The deaths at the scene of Planned Parenthood, did not change what the Right Wing bloggers are promoting.

Any unbalanced person, will find inspiration from these sites, to go out and repeat the horror and tragedy.

1994 Massachusetts felt the pain of what the Right Wing inflicts.

Now, there is another person, another family, to think of, this winter.

From the You can't make this shit up department.

Colorado State Rep. JoAnn Windholz issued a statement condemning the attacks at Planned Parenthood.

"Violence is never the answer, but we must start pointing out who is the real culprit. The true instigator of this violence is Planned Parenthood themselves."

So the issue, in her eyes, is that Planned Parenthood, simply by existing, drove this poor irrational man to kill three people. It had nothing at all to do with the lies being spread by the "pro-life" right.

Roy has been doing the Lord's work delving into the insanity that is the rightwing blogosphere. Anytime you see something completely totally racist, xenophobic, or generally batshit crazy (or some combination of all three) it starts in the awful minds of right wing bloggers. Then Fox "News" runs with it and you get assholes like Brian Kilmeade asking a black woman if she makes Kool Aid on Thanksgiving.

Do you think the NRA will propose armed guards or that employees should arm themselves is the answer to abortion clinic attacks?
