Reposting story

I have read in the FAQ that you can re-post a story that has been edited by adding "EDITED" to the title. I was wondering what a person would do if the story title was already too long and you were unable to get the full "EDITED" added to title. I'm sorry if i posted this in wrong area and also for asking a question that may have already been answered. Thanks for reading and responding anyway.

1) Fit as much of EDIT as you can at the end of the title.
2) Put "THIS IS AN EDIT OF <storyname>" in the NOTES box.
3) From now on, use shorter titles. I have so adapted.

Yeah....I look at my older stuff and I get that urge to start fixing everything.

But for the most part I stop, back away slowly and close the doc, pretending I did not see what I saw.
