Do your own research for sites like these. Take pictures. Vote in person.

Can't vote in person here. Been mail only for some years. Some bad seed put dog food in the ballot box. They said none of the ballots got damaged.

Take pictures of intimidation and voter suppression...

and send them to the reporting sites on my first post. They make it easy.

Keep your battery charged. The lines may be long.

Seesay has a good map to let you know where problems are showing up.

Remember; Republicans are doing everything in their power to keep you from voting. Take them all down. Finish the civil war.

Please vote and remember its your right. All they have left is voter suppression and intimidation

Is the only person advocating voter intimidation, just as long as it's going the CORRECT way. :D

There is no suppression or intimidation.

And even if there was who would you report it to?? The police?

The poll worker was correct in what he did because ANYTHING that can be considered "electioneering" or "intimidation" cannot be done at a polling place.

You cannot wear a Trump hat. You cannot wear a flag shirt. You cannot wear even a campaign button. NOTHING that is "electioneering" or "intimidation" is allowed.

BLM shirts are political statements showing support for a specific political agenda or ideology.

The poll worker was correct. That he got fired merely shows the depths that our government will go to in order to appease their demographic base.

You should never wear a “flag shirt,” and that’s not partisan, it’s to respect the flag.

Those other rules were blatantly violated left and right in 2016. Look at who’s enforcing them now.

Exactly, rules are being enforced unlike in 2016 :D much to the dismay of (D)'s....much teeth gnashing and foot stomping.

Interesting that the mere statement "Black Lives Matter" would be considered politically controversial.

I wear neutral clothing to the polls because there's no point in testing the boundaries (and I don't like to advertise for politicians anyway), but I think in Ohio they will let most anything go as long as it doesn't feature a candidate's or party's name. There was a woman in line with us last week wearing a t-shirt that read "Nasty Woman." The message there is fairly clear, but I suspect she was allowed to vote.

As far as voter intimidation being illegal, there was a stretch here at Lit where busybody was starting a thread every few days on the threat posed by the New Black Panther Party, so imagine my surprise to see there are jurisdictions now that allow you to openly carry firearms to the polls.

At my local UK polling station, there are usually two people outside, one from each major party. They would like your voter number AFTER you have voted so that they can target people who have yet to vote.

If you give your number to one, they will usually share it with the other. They tend to cover for each other for toilet or coffee break visits. All very civilized...

America's civility went out the window when gNewt Gingrich became Speaker of the House of Representatives in 1995

With the amount of vitriol that appears regarding this particular statement, how can you NOT see that it's political in nature in this time frame and context?

There have always been jurisdictions which allow people to carry arms while voting. There are others that do not allow it for any reason. This is the way it is and you don't have to like it any more than you have to eat your vegetables if you don't want to.
