Yes, the refs do suck but as someone who remembers the replacement players during the strike I can honestly say it could be worse. Much worse.

I don't know the labor issues involved in this strike so I have no opinion on that matter, however considering the the NFL is a 9 billion dollar industry, they should have done a better job of preparing for real time football by training these replacement refs. I also don't know what kind of training they're going through now but it should be intense.

These guys aren't even Div. I college refs. Some are high school refs from what I've read. Fucking high school refs in the NFL. Holy fuck they need to get off their ass and finish this.

Still, the player themselves need to adapt and clean up the shit penalties, holding and pass interference on every play, if they do not want to get tagged in a critical moment.

Did you see the end of the Bengals-Redskins game? The Redskins committed an offensive penalty as time expired which ended the game. Then the replacement refs put 7 seconds back on the clock. Marvin Lewis ran out onto the field and had to tell the refs what the rules were. The refs had to then huddle and think about it for a while before ending the game.

Those so called "refs" don't even know the rules of the NFL. Goodell had better get his ass in gear and fix this situation.
