One story I'd love to see is from the male or outside pov of a woman being gentle in a man that was raped as an adult or molested as a child, etc. You would never know he feared sex from his image even, but she takes it gently and mashed him feel like a man. There may even've instances where he has panic attacks and flashbacks. It might even have a couple of attempts before a successful session.

If you want there to be flashbacks, I'd strongly recommend having the trauma be something that happened in his adult life so you don't get hit with the rules and can be a bit more descriptive. If you're planning on making this an erotic piece at the end when they finally do have sex, I would especially recommend .

Also, I'd recommend having whoever did the act be dead, in jail, or in a circumstance where they can't hurt anyone else...but maybe have it so they didn't go down for the act. Like if they're in jail, it was for an unrelated felony against either the state or someone else. This way, the reader isn't distracted by a rapist walking around without a final fate and they have a built-in answer for why he doesn't try to get payback.

Here's an idea I'd pitch: Coworkers go out to celebrate when one of them notices that the attractive guy in his late 20s who was a big part of the success they're celebrating is refusing to touch any booze and seems extremely anxious to get out of there. Playfully, they order a drink for him and try to cheer him on to get him to drink. However, he doesn't just refuse, he freaks out and smashes the glass against the wall of the bar and bolts.

He keeps his head low for a few days when one of his female coworkers approaches him about the issue. She's had a crush on him for a while and after buying his cover story of a sick relative who he needed to go check on, she holds his hand and offers a date with just her and there won't be a single drop of alcohol. He accepts but is very reluctant about it, to the point where his coworker is considering rethinking the whole thing but goes along with it.

The date actually goes really well and soon they're getting close. The guy does seem to need encouragement when it comes to physical contact but they soon are getting along great. Yet, after making out one night, they try to hit the next step and the guy freezes up but doesn't push her away.

He explains that when he was in college, he was at a party where a girl kept hitting on him. He turned her down since he was in a relationship and thought that was the end of it. He went upstairs to a bedroom to sleep off things when the girl came in and took advantage of him. He tried to tell his friends, campus security, and the police but either no one believed him or they ostracized him because they didn't want to deal with the ramifications. His girlfriend left him saying that he could have fought harder if he didn't want to have sex with her. The person who did it was nonchalant about the incident and states to anyone who questioned her that he was a willing participant.

However, when he finally did manage to get the police to at least start an investigation, his rapist got in a car accident and died (one plot point I thought of but might be too dark is that his rapist started claiming she got pregnant from the encounter, which led to threatening phone calls from her family and the horror of knowing he would have to help raise or at least pay child support for a child that was conceived from him being raped...though with the accident he never found out and feels disgust that he felt relief when he heard the news and occasionally wonders what his child might have looked like if they had been born...but once again the story's dark regardless and that runs the risk of making things go too far, especially if you want to make their eventual sex scene erotic.)

A few ways to take this. Here's a couple I've come up with.

The two of them work on things and healing the guy and slowly build up to having sex. The story ends after a few successful love-making sessions.

2. The first idea is sped up a bit and the final bit of healing is a bit unique. The guy asks his girlfriend (or possibly fiance or wife at this point) to simulate his rape. It takes a lot of convincing but she goes ahead with it. When things proceed to a certain point, he says his safe word an ends things on his terms. It's followed by a long cathartic release of emotions and when he's done he feels like the matter is a lot closer to being resolved (though do make sure to include that he still needed a bit more help to be as resolved as possible but his act at least allowed him to release all of his frustrations and, at least symbolically, end things on his terms))

I have a question... Have you given thought as to rather this is a same sex rape or a rape committed by a woman that may have drugged him or something? It would make a difference I assure you.

I have difficulty believing an 18-yr-old hetero male would be traumatized by an unsolicited hetero advance. Molestations as a child is much more believable, and can be included without violating LIT rules -- refer to the molestation(s) but don't describe any details.

That's pretty fucked up dude. I mean, it's not reported that much but female on male rape can be pretty dang traumatic, especially due to the reactions of other people when you try to report it.

Anyway, molestation can be a way to do it, though I'm not sure if that's something that make someone question their manhood. Definitely can fuck up their sense of trust but I don't know about perceptions of manhood.
