My reoccurring seasonal nightmare........

I'm in Zany Brainy, Christmas shopping. I'm looking for a gift for my infant son - I find Baby Einstein. It consists of a book and an audio CD of classical music. It's $30 which I find a bit expensive.

I ask the clerk, "Why does this cost $30?"

He says with a shitty smirk, "It's Einstein.... Einstein!"

Ego deflated, I walk away in total ignorance, brain cells have actually been destroyed within me.

Merry Christmas.

About an 8.0 today. Have a good weather day where ever you may be.

And of course I have no clue as to how to "search" (other than manually) for such things.

Morning Sparky

Little more "up" this morning. Finaly got power back on at about 2300 yesterday thank god. Its damn chilly today.

I hate christmas shopping! Usualy I don't venture out to make purchases unless I know what it is, where it is, how much it costs then I go in, get it, get the fuck out. Surgical strike shopping.

Last night rather than sitting at home in the dark I went browsing at the mall. I don't know how people do it, or even more astoundingly, enjoy it. Two hours and I was ready to go on a three state spree of murder and mayhem.

People zone out entirely, they exhibit a complete lack of social graces and spatial awareness (Translation- Get out of my way you stunned fuck! Is it necessary for you to park your car and your two kids in a way that completely blocks the aisle!?) Anyway I am almost done, praise Jesus.

And by the way if anyone knows where I can pick up a set of "Boa Constrictor" wrenches I will be eternaly in your debt.

Good Morning!

I spoke with a Literotican on the phone last night, let me tell you, it beats the shit out of typing any day of the week. Lots of laughing and giggling, did my best John Wayne. Gotta recommend this old world style of communication, you can laugh out loud instead of typing lol.

It's going to climb into the teens today in the Northern plains. A heat wave, of course the bitter cold and windchills are scheduled to return tonight, it's early in the season for this.
