Renaissance Festival

Forsooth, fair maid. It seemeth you and your brood had a most joyous time at the fair. I am particularly fond of the jousting, especially when they fight on foot after one knight is unhorsed. :D

The cub and his SO have been serious Faire devotees for years. I've been a couple of times. The problem is that out here it's hard to justify dressing up in Olde Englyshe garb when its in the 90's. SoCal Faire should try to be North African instead. It would be a lot more comfortable. Besides, we already have the belly dancers! Yum anna half.

:D

I wish. I hope he's as good in bed as he is at jousting. ;)

What we have decided, hubby and I, is that we must attend this event twice next year. We need a kid day and we need an adult day out.

The language and innuendo from the knights (there were four in the tournament) was quite lewd. Most of it went over the heads of the children, but the adults were seriously entertained.

It was great fun.

And they have a Vampire Bordello event. It's about $50 a person, it's a couple of hours of food , entertainment, liquor, on an adult level. No kids allowed.

I would love to attend this event with a beer in one hand.

:D

Really? Hmmm, I've never heard of that out here. I wonder . . .
