I have been asked to be a wench at this falls Cincinnati rennaissance festival....I think it was a compliment?

I love being a wench, I wish I had a job that allowed me to take weekends off so I could join one of the performing companies. Hecate, I would Love to see a faire in a real castle. My son went to Scotland several years ago & loved the castles he got to visit. Send the plane tickets & we'll be there. Jade, I think you've been "Bob-motized". Some of the guys at our faires look absolutely yummy in tights, I prefer wrap pants on my guy, easy accesiblity, don't you know? One of these days, you'll have to come visit us at Scarborough Faire.
I would love to attend a Ren faire
We don't seem to have that many over here in the UK.
I've ploughed through quite possibly hundreds of links over the past four or five days and found only one in England that is close enough for me to attend.
Most of the UK sites I found were dedicated to the reinactment of major battles, what I really want is to be immersed in the entire thing not just fighting but the everyday stuff (preferably involving lots of mead, ale and food).
If anyone knows of such a place in England could they please let me know, I'm pretty sure I could do the accent right
