Removing story taking very long

As per the guidelines on the story site, I have sent a message to Laurel to ask to retract an old story that I am unhappy with from my submissions. This was in May. I haven't heard since, nor has the story been taken down. What can I do?

The email address for the site has a questionable track record. It has a draconian spam filter, and most people don't complete all the steps to get past the gatekeepers — usually because confirmation messages get lost in the spam folder.

No problem

I keep track of those posts so I can cut-n-paste them when necessary, because I know I had a heck of a time figuring it out the first time.

With any luck, once the new version of the site is fully up and running, we can start moving down the path toward push-button editing, eliminating some of the currently involved process. Much of what's needed for that easier process is already in place now.
