Removing a duplicate story?

I accidentally submitted a story twice under slightly different names. Does anyone know how I have one of them removed from the site? Please email me at tacocarnitas@gmail.com. Thanks!

Just delete one of them. Resubmit the one you want to delete with "delete" at the end of the title and a note in the notes box that you wish for it to be deleted because it is a duplicated story.

Maybe there should be a sticky at the top telling people how to do this as they don't seem to be able to find the FAQ on doing this and always wined up here.

(Actually, the FAQ doesn't even mention deleting a story, just edited replacement.)

I really hope that one of the things Manu is working on behind the scenes is a modern editing system for authors that is point n' click. The current process is convoluted as hell, and even if you read the FAQ, it's still not clear.

On top of that, it's rife with potential for human error on both ends of the process.

There's unique IDs for every story/chapter. It's time to take advantage of it, providing an edit link connected to it, and bringing up all the information about the story so it can be edited in a form.
