Remove a story

I'm disappointed with a previous story and would like to redo it and have the old one removed. There doesn't seem to be a way to do this.

It is a rewrite/edit of a story that you have in Lit? Submit your new story with the same title but add "UPDATE" (As in "Bonnie Gets Boned UPDATE") to the title. It will then replace the old story with that title (after the usual waiting period for a few days). You can also add instructions to the site managers in the comment field on the submision page, something like "Please remove my story titled Bonnie Gets Boned"

If you want to change the title too, sumbit a story with the old title and REMOVE added. Yu don't have to have any content, just the title. For clarity, add a comment here too: "Please delete my story titled Bonnie Gets Boned". Then submit the new story.

If you're in a hurry to get the old story deleted, send a PM via this forum to Laurel (the site owner). She usually deal with request like that quick, unless there's extra much to do with the site at the moment.

I've changed a number of things in a story. Say your title is " I Like Sex' resubmit it as "I like Sex edited" Leave a note in the remarks section about your change. You have to re-submit the whole story doing it this way.
Hope this helps. So you know, All the previous votes and comments, stay the same. It doesn't get re-posted under new stories, just in your story page.
