The media knows it is in deep shit when you see Andrea Mitchell criticizing the FBI in defense of the President. They know they cannot continue to lie to the American people in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary and maintain market share. That business model is failing.

Read the article, sorry I do not think Trump was wiretapped. Yes as I recall there were people from his campaign caught up in some intelligence, but from my understanding the information was correctly dealt with, according to the rules.

If it was missed, shouldn't that last report have covered it, if not, and it was missed, then maybe the next report finds it.

I guess for those who are desperate to believe it, it matters. For me, sorry but I need to see a preponderance of evidence, not a single article. Hearsay isn't it, no direct testimony from those involved, etc etc.

They were not "caught up in some intelligence." The were targeted, because they were a plausible access point to illegally surveil the Trump campaign, using a fabricated intelligence pretext to do so.

The fact is Admiral Rogers, the head of the NSA, did warn Trump he was being illegally surveilled. It's a fact.

Didn't the NYT have this same story on Page 1 on inauguration day?

Less than a week later, the media was ridiculing Trump for suggesting he was wiretapped prior to his inauguration.
 
They were exposed and on November 19, 2016 Defense Sec Ash Carter and ODNI James Clapper tried to get NSA director Admiral Mike Rogers fired.
 
the news reports treated Rogers with thinly disguised contempt. They blamed him for intelligence failings against ISIS and the leak of NSA cyber tools. They depicted the leaked memo as a legitimate and normal development. Nothing to see here, folks.
 
But the real reason for the sudden, public move by the now exposed “putsch” leaders, Clapper, Carter, and CIA Director John Brennan, was he just told the incoming POTUS that they had been spying on him and there would be hell to pay.
