****Start teary-eyed speech****
I'm about to enter enemy territory, my friends... On Tuesday, August 29, at approximately oh-seven-hundred hours, I start at my new college... My new, private, Christian college.

Its gonna' be risky, its gonna get ugly, but don't worry. I'll be wearing my anti-brain-washing hat every day. They'll try and change me... Maybe torture, or *gasp* hours upon hours of hymns, but I think I can keep a clear head... I hope so.

If my posts slack off or stop entirely, you'll know that I've succumbed to the enemy, and all hope is lost.
****End teary-eyed speech****

I hope you liked my monologue. I really am starting at a Christian school next week. Just thought everyone would like to know whats going on in ol' Rand's life.

Aw, it's not that bad...

I've gone to all girls catholic school for the past 4 years, and, while the nuns have had their brainwashing moments, it hasn't been all bad. At what other school would you get to miss class to have some bread and wine? and sleep? At what other school do you get to take a religion class instead of something you actually have to work at? I know the prospects look bleak now, but if I, a bisexual atheist, can survive catholic school, you can survive christian college ;)

Just remember, when you take your seat in the lecture hall, you don't neccessarily have to genuflect.

As I said quite often in college "Cool Beans!"

There are Christian colleges and then there are Bob Jones type Christian colleges. I went to a bit less conservative Christian college and ended up glad I made the choices I did. I tried to make the most of my time there rather than focus on the belief business. And steer clear of all those Christian Ministry majors (still can't understand how people can smile that much...), they're the true believers. Drop me a line if you want. In the off chance you're going to my alma mater.

I wish you well Fisher. Try to keep out trouble. On the religious topic did you notice how much religious imagery and associations Jordan includes in the "Wheel of Time"?

Nope!!!

Can't say that I do. But then, again I don't remember much any more.
