I've got my doubts. The thing about Romney was that the hardcore right never really embraced him. (They're not very fond of Mormons, after all.) Also, Obama was an incumbent with a record to defend in a sluggish economy, so some Democratic-leaning voters were open to voting for him. Now the shoe's on the other foot, plus the hardcore right is utterly devoted to Trump.

The good news is, it probably won't be enough.
