Religious woman has a vision

So I thought of two different versions: a younger protagonist and an older one.

Essentially our very religious woman has a vision she believes to be from god stating that she’s been living her life wrong this entire time and needs to give into her desires and atone to those she’s labeled as “damned” or sinners.

With an older protagonist I figure she’s on a street corner or actively engaging the community trying to spread her gospel and legs for anyone she can get her hands on.

For younger (18-25) she’s more nervous about massive public displays and focuses more on acting on her desires and atoning. Like confessing her closeted love for a sexually promiscuous classmate or someone she labeled as a “devil worshipper” dressing more lewdly, and doing what she can to indulge in all the fantasies she hid away.

Of course her family and friends from when she was more traditionally pious would likely try to intervene: only to find that she won’t so easily go back to how she was.

An iconic Mad Scientist(a) develops a mental raygun that implants 'religious' visions in target subjects. When Allah or {JHWH} or Isis or Bob.Dobbs or Kali (pick a deity) tells ya to do something, ya better do it, or else! Hilarity ensues.

Or she just got bored and cracked open that big book that she had been carrying around for all those years. (OMG, there are words inside!) It opened to “‘The Song of Songs’ that which is of King Solomon.”

My beloved is to me a sachet of myrrh resting between my breasts. My beloved is to me a cluster of henna blossoms from the vineyards of En Gedi. (1:13-14 NIV)

Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest is my beloved among the young men. I delight to sit in his shade, and his fruit is sweet to my taste. Let him lead me to the banquet hall, and let his banner over me be love. (2:3-4 NIV)

How delightful is your love, my sister, my bride! How much more pleasing is your love than wine, and the fragrance of your perfume more than any spice! (4:10-12 NIV)

Awake, north wind, and come, south wind! Blow on my garden, that its fragrance may spread everywhere. Let my beloved come into his garden and taste its choice fruits. (4:16 NIV)

My beloved thrust his hand through the latch-opening; my heart began to pound for him. I arose to open for my beloved, and my hands dripped with myrrh, my fingers with flowing myrrh, on the handles of the bolt. (5:4-5 NIV)

Your navel is a rounded goblet that never lacks blended wine. Your waist is a mound of wheat encircled by lilies. Your breasts are like two fawns, like twin fawns of a gazelle. (7:2-3 NIV)

I said, “I will climb the palm tree; I will take hold of its fruit.” May your breasts be like clusters of grapes on the vine, the fragrance of your breath like apples, and your mouth like the best wine. (7:8-9 NIV)

I am a wall, and my breasts are like towers. Thus I have become in his eyes like one bringing contentment. (8:10 NIV)

Wow! Who knew that was in there. She 'Boogled' SoS, and looking at ‘Wikipedia,’ it said that in addition to being favored by God and writing Biblical verse King “Solomon had 700 wives and 300 concubines. The wives were described as foreign princesses, including Pharaoh's daughter--” and you know how big the Ancient Egyptians were concerning family-- “and women of Moab, Ammon, Edom, Sidon and of the Hittites.”

PS: In Biblical times the distinction between wives and concubines was simple. Wives were relatives BEFORE you married them, concubines had the privileges of wives, but were from a different extended family (tribe) and the children of concubines were subordinate to the children of wives because they WEREN'T congangiunous.

Interesting idea.

What would be the payoff though? What does she get out of it? Does she find happiness in the end? Or just has nonstop meaningless sex?

And the Lord said unto her, and only unto her, "It is a sin to wear underwear in My house, unless it be wet with evidence of joyous love, or desire therefor." And Edith was sorely tested, for she thought not of carnal acts and believed them to be the wickedness of Eve, and was at that moment torn between pride in her own modesty of dress and the very sinfulness of the same.

I wrote "Adam and Eve... Lilith and Steve," a Fan Fiction based on Genesis 2 and 3. "Steve" was known as "The Snake--" because he had a long... He was created from Lilith's rib just as Eve was created from Adam's. That branch of the family of man never made the move to Nod.

It wasn't published here-- for being too "political--" but it's up elsewhere. Along with another story-- starting at Genesis 4-- describing exactly how Eve's surviving sons and daughters "begot" all of her grandchildren. One about Noah and his cousin-wife's three sons and grandchildren. One about Abe and Sarah, their parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins-- but I repeat myself. And one about Laban, Rebekka and their extended family :) Oy, you need a program guide for that one.
