Can someone please explain how the end of year awards work?

The poem I want to vote for as best of the year doesn't have an 'E', so can I still vote on it?

Haven't been here long enough to know how this thing works.

Thanks in advance and Merry Christmas to you all.

E's don't have anything to do with the End of Year Awards.

The poems eligible for awards will be the top-ranked submitted each month in each category. So, all you can do is vote in your favourite poems as they are posted. ;)

Here is a list of all the poetry nominees in the first 10 months of the year. There are still 2 spots open, for November and December. ;)

I was on my way out earlier when read this thread. I started to respond, then I said to myself, "I really don't have time, besides, Lauren will get it. She knows it all... in a good way." So, merry christmas to someone who's indispensable around here.

I say Fuck Christmas in the best way possible. :cathappy:

Thanks hon :)

The poem I wanted to vote for isn't in the list, so I guess it's not eligible.

So, is it the category nominee winners for each month that are eligible for the stories section? Sorry, just wondering if mine will be up lol

Well, it depends on when it was posted. If it was during November or December, it still has a shot. ;)

Not that i know of. But there is a risk they might get a few less reads than if they were up one each day for a longer period of time. I know that when I am in a hurry one day, I tend to pick one poem from each poet if they have more than that. And if it's not my style, I don't read the rest.

I try not to have more than one poem on the new list at the same time. I guess I just want them to stand out.

I wish I had time to write more than one poem a week.

I don't either.

I rarely have time lately to read much :(
