my story was rejected. they said "we dont accept stories with non consent sex where the person gets no pleasure from the pain."
this was a story of a medical proceedure that was painful. there was no sex. it was a real life description of the proceedure.
how do i get the editor to accept it.
there are lots of stories on here with pain.
this seemed arbitrary

Was there consent to the procedure? And assuming no sexual context, was it therefore posted in Non-Erotic?

The initial screening of stories is incredibly quick and possibly done by software - if you think it's a story that passes the consent test, resubmit with a note explaining.
