Hi Guys/Gals, I tried my hand at poetry earlier, and found it just wasn't me, but I did come up with something that was both beautiful and sad, which I thought I'd share.

Rejected!

I wanted to ask you for a dance
but I also wanted to say so much more
I wanted to say your beautiful
can I love you for the rest of your life
and could I hold you for the rest of mine

These were the thoughts going through my mind
as I crossed towards you on the dance floor what would I actually say as I drew up close.
You turned your head and saw me stop
I should tell you how I feel

But I didn't, I simply asked you to dance
and you said no!

I know, stick to my stories. haha

It wasn't me, I swear. I would have danced the night away with a man of your humour and charms. Promise!

No... I was glad you expanded your horizons... prose works for you as well. :)

I will dance with him any day!

Sounds very Familar Carl... VERY FAMILAR.. hits right where it hurts the most.. Lots of pain and depression comming back from lots of memories like that.. Thanks for the touching poem :)

P.S. no sarcasm intended

Goodness, all I could think of the title, is who would reject you?? Now I see what your talking about. I feel a little better now.
