Nicole had a little bit of a jealous streak about her.
Sure, she and Mike had broken up a long time ago. Not that it was mutual. It was more like Nicole ignoring Mike until he finally gave up on her and moved on.
Of course, this didn't sit too well with Nicole who had a hard time admitting she was wrong. Yet, even though she knew this, she wasn't going to admit it... at least not yet.
She had seen Mike talking with other women and most of them, were not ones Nicole would talk to because they were complete idiots. But it seemed the idiots always attracted the guys...
Nicole was not an idiot. This much she knew. Both men and women were scared of her intelligence...her outspoken ways and just her confidence. She could of course, tone it down but why? To please others? Fuck no.
But now, she was watching as other idiots were falling all over Mike. And it sucked. Some days she could laugh it off and other days, well...that little jealous part of her hit and she took it out on something or someone.
Oh well, what could she do? Nothing.
Nothing but sit and watch it all happen before her eyes. Have regret eat away at her insides...or she could fight for him again...right? But then, she did that before and ended up pushing him away. Maybe it was better if she was just a dim-witted idiot. Hell, they seemed happier not realizing that life was not all cupcakes and ponies.
