Regarding voting

Call me thick, but one of my stories has scored quite high 4.88.

So why can'nt i see it in the top stories lists ?

It requires ten votes to make it on the list.

The list doesn't update 'instantly' as is my experience... (I think once or twice an hour). I could be wrong about that though.

I've had the same situation or a score that doesn't update.

Or set up a link to your profile or stories in your SIG so people can reach them there, no matter where you post. This is NOT the forum profile, but your story profile, which is different. (Sorry if the names of these things aren't quite right. Someone know the right names?)
Looks like you might have about 8 votes, with 7 "5's" and one "4". That's pretty good.
