Given the extensive scope of this site's archives, I think a central location for readers and writers to recommend stories would be admirable. The search engine is quite good, but it's nice to get the human touch in looking for new stories!
The idea is to provide a list of what you like, what you dislike, and to provide examples of stories you enjoy. Others will respond with stories that match the category and that they also enjoyed; then provide their own list for others to provide recommendations for.
To start off:
I like heterosexual stories. Lesbian action is cool if it complements hetero action, but I'm not into by itself.
I like my stories smutty. While I find insert A into B boring and like characters to have personalities beyond their genitals, I'm also not super-interested in in-depth romance.
I like groups, particulary in party scenarios. I like ordinary people-office workers, housewives, college coeds finding themselves in extra-ordinary situations. People who'd never expect to participating in a gang-bang, but once they join in, find they greatly enjoy themselves.
I like stories about sluts, or once timid women becoming sluts-but not ones that hate women. Stories about women who enjoy sex, know they enjoy it, and do what they can to get it, not women who don't have any meaning beyond their vaginas.
I particularly like college themed stories, especially if they revolve around sororities and fraternities.
I like interracial when it's focused on a character enjoying something they perceived as taboo; I dislike the portrayal of black characters as primitive or savage.
I dislike incest, violence, and non-consent( a little reluctance or persuasian is okay, but I want all the characters to go along with everything and enjoy themselves)
