i have visited this site on-and-off for the past few years, and have run across a few really amazing stories.
I have listed a few of these here in hopes that it will catalyze other members into searching out series that they really enjoyed, and recommending them also.
1. "To Tempt the Devil" by bad_girl23

2. "Innocent Pawn" by wishfulthinking

3. "smokeSCREEN" by Riven__Caulfield

4. "The Secret of Perfection" by MaxSebastian

I have based these recommendations off of mainly these three criteria:
1. A good story has to have a broader scope than just another romp in the hay.
2. A good story has balance (ie a good story will arouse the reader creatively and physically while remaining cogent and well paced)
3. A good story will traverse over new ground and break convention, causing readers to consider new realities and possibilities
PS - I realize how trite all of this must sound, but please bear with me.
Also, I realize that I am being rather presumptious in deciding what constitutes a "good" story, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, after all.
