The Longest Yard is being remade with Burt Reynold's Paul Crewe being played by...Adam Sandler...

Anyway, if you could recast an old movie or television show who would you pick?

Personally I'd like to see a remake of Hogan's Heroes but snappier and a bit darker:

Hogan: John Cusack
LeBeau: Jean Reno
Newkirk: Lee Evans (you may remember him as the guy in the crutches on Something About Mary)

Klink: Christopher Walken
Schulz: Dennis Franz

I totally agree with that casting except for Franz as Shulz. I can sorta see him doing it but I think it might be better with John Goodman or maybe the King of Queens guy.
Walken as Klink would be perfect.
 
Moonlighting. Breakwall gets the Bruce Willis character, and Agent99 is Cybil Shepard.


Edit: I never remember actor's names, but Lit-ites work well for this sort of thread.
 
Threes Company with Ben Stiller, Cameron Diaz and Terri Hatcher. Jerry Stiller as Mr. Roper or Furley and Hank Azaria as Larry.

God, I LOVED Moonlighting!
Bruce Willis was a complete unknown, and he had that witty banter going on as David Addison.

I always admired the smartasses. Magnum PI, Remington Steele, and those Blackadder shows on BBC...

Hank Azaria is so underrated. He would be great as Larry.

And Jerry Stiller as Furley. I can see him in the flowered shirt and ascot now...

John Goodman would be PERFECT as Shulz!
