Norton:
It was three in the morning, but one could not tell as such if they were with Norton. He sat in his lab, a multitude of florescent light cascading down from the ceiling. In front of him was an achievment like no other. A marvel of technology, built with his own hands. Every inch of circuitry, an endo skeleton designed to mimic every nuance of a human female. An inorganic flesh-like compound coating her, crafted in the image of a woman who no longer lived.
For all Norton cared, what sat before him was his dead wife, and he was about to breath new life into her. He held her arm by its wrist and placed an electonic stylus against a set of circuits contained within a small open patch of her skin. When he was done, he reached a hand out to her, running it along the back of her neck. His finger tips found the button that would allow him to activate her with the sound of his voice.
"Wake up dear." He spoke to her softly, admiring how perfectly she seemed to resemble the woman he'd lost. Slowly, a sort of conciousness flowed into this creature of perfection before him, and her eyes rose open, those perfect, stormy blue eyes that had always entranced him. "How do you feel?" Norton asked with a growing smile.
