Lucrezia was all Vincent Valentines world, he had friends like Cloud, Barret and Tifa but Lucrezia was his everything. Unfortunately with a battle between Lucrezia and Sephiroth, she lost and lost her life. It has been several years since she has been dead but Cloud told Vincent that she was reborn, since everyone is reincarnated and Cloud believes this woman is his wife reborn. She was in the same place they were heading, on the track of sephiroth but Vincent wants revenge on his wifes death by himself, so doing the risky thing he left for the village before Cloud and the rest got up.

The village was Clouds and Tifa's home town, a woman was there always singing to the children, but she stopped singing to the children and looked up seeing Vincent. She smiled happily seeing this man, she had no idea why she was so happy, since they didn't know one another. She didn't move, but her pure blue eyes looked at him, tilting her head to the side, waiting for him to see if he would approach.

Vincent had been hellbent on destroying Sephiroth, to correct his inaction before Sephiroth was born. When Cloud told him about the woman in Nibelheim, he started thinking. In the end, he had left Cloud and the others asleep and went to the town. As he walked up, he saw a young woman singing. The closer her got, the more startled he became at how like his love this woman was. When she looked up and saw him, she stopped singing, and smiled widely. He walked closer, then knelt down. "My name is Vincent."

 

[Mayu]

She nodded "Strange how I know that already" she said kindly "My name is Hope" She said softly. His eyes seemed to show a lot of pain, he had been through a lot that she could tell. She was always good to people, knew about them just by looking at him.

"Its a pleasure to meet you"

Vincent smiled, then sat down slowly. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Hope."

 

[Mayu]

Hope smiled "Please...Hope is just fine" She said softly. Looking him up and down and the golden claw he had made her wonder who and what this man was. She was always kind to strangers, so she waited to see if he would say anything.

Vincent saw her looking at the claw on his arm, and put one hand on it selfconsciously. "A long time ago, I lost a woman to science. This is a relic of that time."

 

[Mayu]

Hope looked at Vincent "It doesn't bother me but everything about you looks familiar to me, and its hard to tell what is real and not any more" Hope looked up at the clouds "It feels like I know you, but i don't know, do you think im going crazy?" She said with a kind smile.

Vincent considered that for a moment, then smiled. "I know someone who is unsure of his memories. On the one hand, he's certain they are his, but on the other, he has memory lapses that he's having trouble filling in."

 

[Mayu]

Hope smiled "Sometimes I wonder if I had another life, but I do not know how its possible" Hope looked down. "Sometimes I wished I was normal but im not and don't ever think im going to fit in"

Vincent nodded, then smiled, and stretched. "There are always options."

 

[Mayu]

"Oh and what are those? Ive never seem any options"

Vincent smiled. "Just because you can't see it doesn't make it any less real."

 

[Mayu]

She nodded some "Now you probably think im nuts" She giggled some and sighed a little bit, what was going to happen tonight? "I want to know why it feels like I know you, forgive me to ask this but....have you lost someone close to you?"

Vincent closed his eyes, then nodded. "The woman I loved. I lost her to a scientist who used her body to create a monster."

 

[Mayu]

She placed her hand on his "Im sorry Vincent, looks like we have lost someone dear to us, im alone and live here alone" She sighed some she wrapped her arms around him just all of a sudden but as she did she seemed to get some kind of vision, of a beautiful woman by some sort of beast but noticed the beast took human form. His wife's scent now surrounded Hope's body, the one thing that proved she was his wife reborn.

Vincent blinked, looking at her as he inhaled deeply.

 

[Mayu]

When she sat back her hand was to her head "She was your wife....." She said simply "Why do I know her name?" She slowly stood up "I need to find some damn answers im going insane"

Vincent blinked, then smiled. "I don't know. Maybe it's fate."

 

[Mayu]

Hope was about to say something but some men in black came "We have come for that girl" One stepped up looked like a turk but it wasn't, was someone else working for a man no one knows who.

Vincent stood up slowly, and looked at the men.

 

[Mayu]

Hope backed away "No, why do you want me?" with a gesture of the mans hand she started to stagger and get sleepy as she fell to her knees. "Because you are the reincarnation of Lucrezia and you are powerful and must come with us" Weakly she looked up at Vincent reaching for him. "H..elp me...." She collapsed to her side.

Vincent stepped between her and the men, his hand dropping to the tribarrel revolver he carried.

 

[Mayu]

The man growled "Stand down!" they pointed there guns at him "You must be Vincent Valentine, yes you did hear me, that girl is your wife reborn but we wont allow you to stop us in our mission"

Vincent raised an eyebrow. "And what do you plan on doing to stop me?"

 

[Mayu]

The man growled and made a gesture with his hand and the men started to shoot at him, while two others came and casted magic.
