Ok- this is a really gross thing, but I need help! How do you get rid of and prevent zits on your butt? I get them there, even though I am very clean and use an exfoliator when I shower. I don't get zits anywhere else on my body. Does anyone know why, and what I can do about it?

It's a warm, fairly moist place so those things do tend to happen. I'd say that whatever you use on your face would work there as well. An astringent of some sort like witch hazel and some clearsil might do the trick.

There Is A New Product Out!!!

Though I'm Not To Sure Of The Company, It Is A Depimplifier Fer The Whole Of Yer Body!

It Could Be Made By Noxema Or Clearasil...?...I DO Remember That The Party Of Five Dudette Was Touting It:D

Zip To The Nearest Shoppers Drug Mart And Scan The Shelves Or Ask The Pharmasist:)

Be Well & I Wish You A Clear Butt In The Future!

Now that you mention it, I do believe Noxema makes a body wash astringent. Not sure if it would be by the bath stuff, or by the facial stuff.

Try something like GOLD BOND medicated poder. Keep your butt dry and lower the bacteria count. Worth a shot anyway. You're right. Too gross for mixed company.

Neutrogena. And, it was Jeniffer Love Hewitt who did the commecials.

Also, St. Ives (wonderful 'bath and body' company) has an herbal clarifying clean pore body was out.

If you are wearing snythetic fabrics or it could be your detergent. This would be worse if you have a sedentary job requiring you to sit a lot. I get a small blister type rash if my watchband contains nickel. Maybe it is allergic? Experiment and see. Good Luck!!

You might try the bath gloves they have out combined with an exfoliator and scrub away. Also make sure your clothes esp. your undies are breathable, cotton is preferable. Tighter fitting clothes might aggravate this condition too.

Really Good Advice...

This is all wonderful advice...but the best one i can offer is to dry off thoroughly and use a thick cotton towel.

Body powder, talc, and maybe just room temperature air will help.

Good luck.

more advice.... : )

dude..i used to get the same problem...my ass was so pimply you couldn't see the ass...well, almost. lol. here's my cure tips:
pimples are caused by dirt in oily pores, or ingrown hairs. it can really only be one of these 2 things. do you have hair on your butt (not the black stuff, the fine 'fur' that women get sometrimes on their top lip kinda stuff. yum, btw. : P)
so to get to the point, here is az list of do's and don'ts
DON'T - scratch your ass. dirty hands lead to dirty butt leads to pimples
- use dirty underwear/trousers. for the same reason. dirt = pimples.
- use straight soap. soap dries skin, prompting more oil from the pores. use a ph-balanced moisturising cleanser in the shower.
DO - shower every day! the shower is the most important step to a clean ass!
- clean toilet seats b4 sitting on them. not for the germs sake, but again, for the dirt. same goes for anything you would sit on naked.
- use a pumice stone! this is the REAL secret to a zit-free derriere (and if you have the skin for it - the technique can be used anywhere on the body to remove pimply areas.) find a coarse stone or sea-rock from a naturopathic shop. i find the rougher the better. when in the shower, clench your but cheeks hard to firm them up, then scrub them like a madman! get 'em red. not so's you take the skin off, but really give it a good chafe. this also promotes skin elasticity and surface muscular tension, so your ass will look better too! (but the clenching is VERY important part of this)

keep this up for a few weeks, and there may well be no problem at all. it worked for me, btw.

love darce
