Does meeting someone and going at it like bunnies affect your inclination to write erotica? You'd think I'd be inspired; I have all kinds of new material to work with! But no. Even when I have the time, I find other things to do with it. It's like I'm so happy with the way things are that I can't be bothered to make stuff up.

Many writers write as form of therapy. When you're not suffering, the urge is sometimes not quite as strong.

Experience also sometimes needs to percolate in your sub conscience before if becomes fodder for the pen. Im sure your new material will come into play, maybe just not for a little while.

I couldn't agree with you more, Leg! When things are good between myself and my long-distance fuck-buddy, I find it hard to put my deviant thoughts onto paper. But when things are not-so-good, the words just flow.

And I also agree that experience needs to percolate. But what's even better, you'll find that when you sit down to write once more, your experiences will make for new and creative ideas. When I compare my current creative endeavors to the CRAP that I wrote a few years ago, I am amazed at how much better my more recent stuff is, both in terms of non-sex and sexual prose.

You remind me of an 8 BALL PSYCHIC.

Good to know it comes back. I don't have a lot of experience with being this happy, so I don't really know how it works. :)

I write whenever the mood hits. Since I don't have a girlfriend and any female friends I do have a significant other (boyfriend, fiance, or husband), the plot bunnies hit me quite often.

I just remember to write down my ideas that are for good stories. If it's for a part of a story that I'm not close to writing, I tend to not write it down, but if it's for a part of the story I'm working on, that inspires me to write it. Some of my best work on the web has come from my daydreams.
