'Realistic' incest stories

I was browsing some of the incest threads here and keep seeing people that want the story 'realistic'.

Pardon the question, but if you write a realistic incest story, how would that be a turn-on? Really. Isn't this a subject that requires that fantasy element, and not too realistic descriptions? Just to keep that line between fantasy and reality.

And to those who want realistic incest stories, please explain in detail what type of realism you mean. (I get that you mean there should be hesitation).

I just submitted an incest story with a lot of help from many authors. I think it is rather realistic but I am afraid it is going to be too long for the average Lit reader. It is 17 MS. word pages to build up a realistic situation. I will find out in a few days how it does. The Title will be "Brother's Journal".

I agree it is mostly a fantasy kind of topic and the real incest would seemingly not be very erotic. On the other hand I think readers are sick of the incest category being flooded with other topics that are really not incest. Meaning it is a normal coupling kind of story with a family tossed in to make it a story that will get read.

let's say there is this guy with a 12" dick ...

he never had sex with a girl. But then, on his 18th birtdhay, suddenly, his mom (with big boobs) and his 3 sisters (with even bigger boobs) are suddenly turned on by him and do a gang bang with him .....

that would be unrealistic.

but maybe: an average guy (with an average sized dick). All his life, he had a crush on his mother. He starts to seduce her, and finally, they start a relationship. Of course, they have to do it secretly, so that no one else from the family would find out about it ....


oh, and just to add this: as far as I know, the extreme section is down, but still .... often times, realistic incest includes rape. So maybe an incest story including rape would be realistic ...

On the topic of realistic incest stories....

I don't read or write incest but occasionally browse through this forum to see what's on the minds of readers and writers. As someone else has said, there seem to be threads about incest and 'realistic' incest all over.

So, I got to thinking... just what would make for a realistic incest story. I came up with something in my mind to work with but never did get around putting words to paper. I most likely never will. I did start to think of it in terms of a decent story but also questioned whether or not it would work as a piece of erotica for lit. Written well, I think it could be good but i really don't see it as a 'stroke'-story.


The story opens with a daughter on a train ride back home reminiscing on her childhood. Mom and Dad's relationship being a focal point of some of her memories. She is going home to visit her father a few months after her mother had died. Once home, she sees how badly her father is taking it and thinks that his grief is just overwhelming him. She decides to drop out of grad school and move back home to help around the house. After being there a few weeks she notices that her father is like a lost puppy. He can't seem to think for himself, do things for himself. I imagined a few episodes of dialogue between the daughter imploring her father to snap out of it and to move on. But he can't bring himself to do so or to give her a good reason why. She continues to do the cooking, the cleaning, pay the bills, etc. In her cleaning, she discovers a diary-type book that her mother kept. She begins to read it and discovers that her mother was a very dominant woman and that she held her father in a dom/sub relationship. At first, the daughter is shocked, freaked out (i mean, it's learning about your parents sex life... *shiver*) and tries to ingore it. Eventually, a light clicks on in her head and she realizes that this is why her father is lost without his wife. He never made decisions, never thought for himself but rather followed her lead and whim. Slowly, the daughter begins to instill this kind of guidance on her father. Tells him what to buy and to go shopping. Tells him to clean and cook meals while she is out looking for a job, etc. She learns that her father responds to this kind of demanding demeanor but she never tells him that she knows about his relationship with her mother. She thinks he would be too embarrased to have his daughter know. The father begins to make some modest improvements. The daughter starts to read the diary like a 'how to'. She convinces herself that her parents may have had a 'different' relationship but that it is what made them happy. She only wants her father to be happy again and this dominance may be a way to do it.

That was the general thought, the write up. I felt the daughter could get demanding more and more, delving into the sexual without delving into actual sex (forcing him to masturbate, to shave her, etc....) and thought showing both her reluctance and eventual progress along with her fathers. I never did intend for them to engage in actual intercourse (though the bounds were often pushed into what some might consider sex) and that was how both father and daughter could 'justify' their relationship. They weren't having sex, so it wasn't really incest. She was just doing what she could to help her father move on after her mother died.

As i played with the idea in my mind, it turned into more a compelling character driven drama movie starting James Spader rather than an erotica story for lit.

It's definitely a rough idea, but with some tweaking and polishing, I think it could get to something more 'realistic' than some incest stories. But then I had the same thought as above.. "This wouldn't be a turn on. More a story about a sad lost man and what a loving daughter tries to do to help him. More a pitying story than a turn-on" (though i have learned that someone is typically turned on by just about anything)

I wrote a story with a definite twist. It has an event that precipites the start of the relationship. And why it is special.

should be a good read phildo honey, 17 ms pages is a nice length to make an interesting story with enough build up to make it believable. think yourself lucky, my hubby did the nano writing challenge, his 50200 word nano tale runs to 124 ms pages, giggle, and has incest in it, well implied incest anyway.

you know my feeling on incest tales well enough honey, giggle, but some may not.

that's most authors idea of incest, so fucking realistic isn't it.

A realistic incest story...

Here ya go. Put a brother and sister on a deserted island as the only two survivors of a shipwreck when they are just children. Maybe allow the ships cook to survive long enough to teach them basic survival tactics, and how to cook roast wild boar in coconut juice, and mashed bananas. The cook dies of tricinosis after eating part of the pig that wasn't cooked long enough. Say just before the two kids reach puberty. From then on they are both fair game for each other.
