Have you guys ever thought about opening a section only for true sex stories? I find them to be the most exciting because they're real.

Definitely not a dumb idea, I'm kindof of that camp, as well. I'm sure the Powers that Be will find some reason around it. *shrugs* I'm on your side, though. ;)

What is truth?

Verification is the problem. So many stories start with "This is a true account of ..." Even Gulliver's Travels start like that!

My feeling anytime I read "this is a true story" is generally it ain't. Sure there are probably lots of true stories on Lit, but there are a lot of stories claiming to be true don't look it ..... ;)

I'm with snooper on this one. And where to draw the line - a tiny willy ends up as a 9 inch willy in the telling, so does this still count as a real story, even though things will be changed slightly to make the story seem more interesting or better even (willy is probably a poor example - size doesn't matter and all that;) )

I write a lot of true stories or at least stories based on my real life experiences but at the same time I don't usually label them as real life. This is because when I'm writing, I like to take out the boring or embarrasing parts and add more to make the story or plot better.
And when I come across a story that starts out as "This is based on a true story" I start looking for holes in the story that prove that there is no way it could be true.
Either way a lot of people after reading my stories think they're true and sometimes I let people tink that.
I had a point then I had more ideas so I guess this is just my two cents.

The only problem is that it is hard to tell what is "real". I am sure you will get a lot of exaggeration. It is like Penthouse letters, they started off sounding kind of real then evolved into the most unbelievable shit in the world, sexy shit, but still unbelievable.

I am sure you would get some good stories, but I don't know how you would keep them "real".

:D

I agree that it would be hard to determine reality, also a problem of age arises. My newest story meeting Destiny is an account of how I met my "wife" however the ages and years had to be slightly altered to fit into lit. Not so much of a problem with my story but other stories might become more unbeliveable with age alteration.

What are you talking about? Aren't all the stories in the Stories section true? I'm sure they are.

;-)

My two cents:
I like the stories that are presented as true. Even if they are bullshit, the thought that they happened (supposedly) turns me on far more than fiction. I need to write a few of my true stories and see what you all think.

True stories

I much prefer so-called "ture" stories. I think you can usually tell the ones that are real from the ones that exist only in someone's fantasy. As for me, the real experiences that I can recall are always hotter than the fake ones I read online. So reading real stories online is much preferable.

Yeah.........stories presented in the first person and presented as fact are the ones that get my attention
