So, I'm going to download Zamdrist's free porn and my Real Player says it needs to be updated, and there's a missing plugin.

I'm ok with that, so I head on over to the Real Networks site. Free download my ass!

They have a 14 day free upgrade to Real Player 1. And then you have to pay for it? There seems to be no other alternative. And, to get the upgrade you have to have a credit card. WTF?

Are my real play-ing days over? Is there some way around this?

You don't need realplayer. You can get freeware or shareware programs like global divx player that handle the format just fine, and are more efficient.
