If you met someone on here and ended up falling in love in real life...would you tell people how you met?

But how else would I be able to brag about the minx I'd caught myself?

I am joking, of course. I have a right to privacy, as does everyone else. There's no shame about meeting people online, as it has become the most popular way these days. It's absolutely no one's business where online you met. If prying nosey-pants wanna know more, just tell them it was a hobby forum. Mind you, I might just be the one to take nipple munching to the professional level.

There are a few people who I would be comfortable telling but with everyone else I'd be more circumspect. Naturally, I wouldn't tell anyone the whole truth without the other person's knowledge and consent.

I met my man on adultfriendfinder - we were both looking for no-strings sex on the side but ended up getting involved and becoming monogamous and a bona fide "couple".

I have told my elderly mother and the rest of my family and my friends exactly where we met (including, where necessary, explaining PRECISELY what kind of site AFF is lol).

He on the other hand just leaves it as "we met online" - honesty is less important to him than it is to me, and how people see him is more important to him than how people see me is to me.

I think we all are different.

nah mysterious is better...the less people know about two peoples relationship the less they presume
I don't even tell my best friends about my relationships...actually that's a lie, I have in the past long ago...
but haven't for a few years....even friends like to remind me of things I'd rather forget

Actually, I met a girl in the Lit chat, we cybered a few times, became online chat pals, and when I was in Basic, she ended up sending me more letters than any of my friends did.

Mind you, most of my friends are computer nerds and I think they may have forgotten how the postal system works.
