Real Life Meet ups

Has anyone ever met in real life someone they first met here on Lit? I'm sure some people have, but am more interested in how common it is.

How did you get to that point? Did you travel far? Was it awkward? Was it awesome? Did it develop into something more than a simple "hook up"?

I'm interested in hearing about anyone's experiences with this and any concerns or lessons you learned after doing it.

Is this something you're thinking about doing?
 
Check out Kudram's "Anonymous Secrets" thread for some stories on real life hookups. Also, the thread titled "Traveling Literoticans: Post Your Travel Plans" (or something) has a few recounts of meet ups, too, I believe.
I have not met someone (almost, but not quite) from Lit, but would... given the person and the circumstances involved. I would meet someone... you know, just MEET them. Any other activities would remain topics of discussion until... well, until... they weren't topics of discussion any more. I'd play it by ear. ;)
The idea of a, say, Lit member get-together... in regional areas... seems like a fun thing. You know, a big ol' party of Litsters..? Holy crap... :eek:

we are a bit beyond "just meeting". he's talking about flying down to see me and I know we both expect to have sex. I just wonder if anyone has ever met under these expectations and had it go horribly wrong - that's what scares me the most. Not that I'm afraid he'll hurt me or something bad, but I'm afraid it would be awkward and just bad all around.
 
I met someone from Lit last year. We both traveled a little to get there, he traveld further than we did. Dinner and a few drinks, then off to a hotel for a little fun. It was my first swinging expeience outside of a club, and second overall.

Was it just you or was it a couples thing? Or did you not tell your bf you were going?
 
I think they both had a good time, and I got mine, so it was a good night. I would do it again with the right guy, or the right amount of alcohol.
 
StaciRay, I've been very curious about this too lately. I came to Lit (after reading the stories) to sort of tease (sate?) my bi side. Whoa, what an eye-opener it's been.

I've developed some great lust'ships/friendships with some great ladies, and there have been a couple where we've ventured the topic of meeting. I'm still strictly a "virgin" (hah!) in that regard, but oooh is it tempting.

Mind you, hubby is now aware of my Lit wanderings, but not sure how he'd feel about a full-on meet up. Hmmm ......

you say that hubby is aware...would it matter if it was a guy or a girl you met up with? and would you want him there with you? to at least watch if not participate? would you be willing to let him meet a girl without you?

We've played with other people before, but always when we are both there together. This would be something just for me without him and I'm not sure how I really feel about that - even though I am really into this guy.

Well, I'm sort of in a different circumstance. I'm really not interested in another guy. Plus, I think he would have a problem with that (go figure).

I think I'd rather he not be there. At least the first time. Odd, but I feel a bit selfish about that; if that makes any sense. But, assuming I finally "gave in" beyond just flirting with the prospect of another woman, I think I'd be OK if she joined us.

Would your hubby be OK if it was just you and the guy you're keen on?

Of all the guys I've flirted with, this is the one he would allow. I'm just not sure he really would allow it since he's away. I'm going to ask him about it this weekend and see what he thinks. I know he would love to be all three of us, but not sure if he'll allow just me and him.

This is a very exciting post. The possibilities of meeting a like minded soul mate from Lit, where everyone knows the hook up will end up with only one possible result is quite a mouth watering prospect.
Good luck, Staci, under the circumstances, meeting up with a Lit buddy you trust, sounds too good an opportunity to miss.
