Reader's History?

This is a technical question for the techies.

Is there a way for a reader to see what stories they have read, or even only ones they have commented on?

Is this something that could be added?

Reason I ask is that I sometimes get messages thanking me for a comment or discussing a comment I have left and I often find it a bother to work out which of the stories they actually mean.

I read a lot of stories, and often messages have their personal email but not their Username or the story title.
